论元稹与白居易佛教接受之差异

On the difference of Buddhism acceptance between Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi

元稹和白居易都是中唐时期笃信佛教的典型诗人,接受和学习佛理深刻地影响了他们的人生道路和文学创作.由于他们与佛教接触的渊源相异和个性上的差异,导致他们的佛教接受在功利观和生命意识方面也有所不同.相较之下,元稹苦苦执迷于功名但却可以看淡生死;白居易可以洒脱对待功名富贵,视其为浮云,却又具有强烈的生命意识,难以超脱生死所赋予的厚重枷锁.

Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi were both typical poets who believed in Buddhism in the Middle Tang Dynasty.Receiving and learning Buddhism deeply influenced their life path and literary creation.Because of the different origins of their contact with Buddhism and the differences in personality,their Buddhist acceptance is also different in terms of utilitarianism and life con-sciousness.In contrast,Yuan Zhen is obsessed with fame but can see lifte and death,BAI Juyi can be free and easy to treat fame and wealth,regard it as clouds,but also has a strong sense of life,it is dificult to get rid of the heavy shackles given by life and death.
