A Review of Xi Jinping’s Important discourse on Political Responsibility

政治责任是现代政治文明的基石,是实现国家治理体系和治理能力现代化的基础。习近平总书记高度重视政治责任建设,把其作为全面从严治党、全面依法治国的基本内核,反复强调政治责任的重要性和必要性,并对政治责任作出了重要论述。习近平政治责任论述源于马克思主义责任观,根植于中国传统政治责任思想,是对人类政治责任思想的扬弃,体现在政治建设、组织建设、制度建设、全面从严治党和党内政治文化建设等方面。习近平政治责任重要论述在理论拓展、实践增效和世界图景等维度具有着突出的价值意蕴。

Political responsibility is the cornerstone of modern political civilization and the foundation of realizing the modernization of national governance system and governance ability.General Secretary Xi Jinping puts a new premium on the construction of political responsibility and regards it as the basic core of comprehensively governing the Party strictly and comprehensively governing the country according to law.He repeatedly emphasizes that responsibility is the essential basic quality of leading cadres.As leading cadres,they should have responsibility and how much responsibility they have can they do much cause.By combing Xi Jinping’s important treatises on political responsibility,this paper finds that some scholars have made useful explanations on this important treatise from the perspectives of political philosophy,dialectical materialism and administrative ethics,but the supervision of power,the legitimacy of the source of public power of the subject of political responsibility,and the definition of the scope of political responsibility still need in-depth analysis.This study aims at systematically sorting out Xi Jinping’s important discourse on political responsibility and providing some concrete paths and overall methods for strengthening the construction of political responsibility.
