基于RDA的西文编目实践研究——以福建师范大学图书馆为例

Research on the Practice of Western Language Cataloging Based on RDA:Case Study of Fujian Normal University Library

[目的/意义]揭示RDA编目特点,顺应西文编目逐步从AACR2到RDA规则过渡,最终采用RDA规则编目,推进RDA应用在国内的普及和发展。[方法/过程]以福建师范大学图书馆西文编目RDA数据的本地应用和实践为例,实例分析RDA特点,依据RDA编目原则、MARC21标准格式和CALIS联合目录RDA实施声明的相关规定,以用户便利为出发点,按所见形式描述资源,总结RDA较之传统编目的优势。[结果/结论]遵循RDA编目特点,以用户查找、识别、选择、获取所需文献的重要性来确定规范目录的详简级别,准确掌握RDA核心元素和资源描述。

[Purpose/significance]The paper intends to reveal the characteristics of RDA cataloging comply with the gradual transition from AACR2 to RDA rules for Western language cataloging and finally adopt RDA rules for cataloging so as to promote the popularization and development of RDA applications in China.[Method/process]Taking the local application and practice of RDA data in western language cataloging in Fujian Normal University Library for example the characteristics of RDA were analyzed with instance analysis.According to the relevant provisions of RDA cataloging principles MARC21 standard format and CALIS joint catalog RDA implementation statement the users’convenience was taken as the starting point the resources were described in the form of what they were seen and the advantages of RDA over traditional cataloging were summarized.[Result/conclusion]Following the characteristics of RDA cataloging it determines the detailed level of the normative catalogue based on the importance of users’searching identifying selecting and obtaining the required documents and accurately grasps the core elements and resource description of RDA.
