“可视”与“可述”:从符号转换角度看电影叙述中的意义空间

摘要 不同符号域之间的转换是否成功,最终要看两个文本对接受者所形成的认知冲击与意义效力是否等值。符号的转换或翻译所引发的,不只是文本交流方式的变形;文本意义的衍生,往往诞生于不同文本符号之间的转换与指涉。因为每一次符号意指过程都会形成不等值的翻译,导致自我认知可能的转变。本文基于上述符号叙述视角,辨析电影叙述如何以视听符号所组成的意义空间,尽量等值地转换文字文本中的单一符号,及由此为自我所带来的认知启发。 The most significant and shaping factor to a successful translation between two kinds of text is commonly agreed on as the equal impact upon receivers’emotional and cognitive approaches to the textual meaning.The transformation or translation of signs not only changes the ways of reception but more of one's reconstruction of the original text,therefore,begetting the possibly new dimension of textual meaning.Such view originates from the belief that translation of the original signs is impossible but fruitful,inviting one to reshape the original text.This paper revisits and offers a semiotic-narratological perspective to the:much-discussed issue of the comparative study between the film text and the verbal text,exploring the new dimension of meaning during the process of translation.
