Bridging the digital divide among the elderly and sharing the dividends of digital development

信息技术的发展、智能手机的普及给人们的生活带来了巨大便利,却使得不会上网、不会使用智能手机的老年人在数字化时代日益被边缘化。文章以调研结果为切入点,阐述老年人使用智能技术的现状,剖析老年人数字鸿沟的成因,提出培育年龄友好氛围、加强安全触网环境建设、社区精准化教学、家庭数字反哺、企业开发适老化产品、老年人自身发挥主观能动性等对策建议,帮助老年人跨越数字鸿沟,提升社会服务化水平,持续共享数字发展红利。

The development of information technology and the popularity of smart phones have brought great convenience to people’s lives,but it has made the elderly who can not access the internet and use smart phones increasingly marginalized in the digital age.Based on the research results,this paper expounds the current situation of the elderly’s use of intelligent technology,analyzes the causes of the digital divide for the elderly,and proposes countermeasures and suggestions such as cultivating an age-friendly atmosphere,strengthening the construction of a safe Internet environment,precise teaching in communities,digital feedback in families,enterprises developing age-appropriate products,and the elderly themselves giving full play to their subjective initiative,so as to help the elderly cross the digital divide,improve social services and continue to share the dividends of digital development.
