异托邦是福柯根据乌托邦词型创制的一个概念,是不同于正常空间的异质空间。福柯认为,任何社会与文化都存在异托邦且异托邦形式多种多样,不同形式异托邦在特定社会与文化中有着不同的地位与作用。在他的著作中,他从知识空间与社会空间两大方面,以异托邦视角对资本主义社会理性秩序与社会统治进行了深刻揭示和无情批判。福柯异托邦思想为人们打开了社会与文化研究的新空间,但其后现代立场也决定其存在着明显的局限性与矛盾。

Heterotopia is a concept created by Foucault based on utopian morphology,which means a heterogeneous space different from normal space.He believed that heterotopia exists in any society and culture,and the forms of heterotopia are also various.Different forms of heterotopia have different positions and functions in specific society and culture.In Foucault’s work,he profoundly revealed and ruthlessly criticized the rational order and social domination of capitalist society from the perspective of heterotopia,considering both knowledge space and social space.Foucault’s heterotopian thought opened up new spaces for social and cultural studies,but its postmodern position also entailed obvious limitations and contradictions.
