许淇是当代重要的散文诗写作者,他自创的词牌散文诗、“城市系列”散文诗都在当代散文诗的发展创新中产生了一定的影响。同时许淇也是一位画家,早年师从林风眠、刘海粟、关良等大家,身后遗留画作之繁不亚于其文学作品的数量,因此,许淇年少形成的绘画思维不自觉地进入后来的散文诗创作中,最明显的特征之一,即是其散文诗中丰富多样的色彩表现。

Xu Qi was an important contemporary writer of prose poetry,and his self-invented prose poetry on words and the'City Series'have been influential in the development and innovation of contemporary prose poetry.Xu Qi was also a painter,having studied under Lin Fengmian,Liu Haisu and Guan Liang in his early years,and leaving behind a legacy of paintings as numerous as his literary works.Therefore,Xu Qi's painting thinking formed when he was young unconsciously penetrates into the later prose poetry creation.One of the most obvious features of Xu Qi's prose poetry is the richness and variety of color in his prose poems.
