In his Economic Manuscripts of 1857-1858,Marx continued the paradigm of philosophically analyzing economics by explicating the externalized form of money as exchange value and exploring its philosophical impli-cations.In exploring the contradictory movement inherent in money becoming a commodity,Marx elaborated on the contradictory movement of commodities,money,and labor by revealing the duality of labor,and pointed out that the duality of labor producing commodities influenced the future direction of the development of capital-ist society.Western philosophers,through their critique and reflection on the alienation of the nature of money,monetary fetishism,and cultural and social life,revealed the social relations of human beings in the commodity economy and the problems of survival and emancipation.In exploring the logic and operation of currency,clarify-ing the interdependent relationship between currency and modern social development,abandoning the values of a monetized society,and promoting the transformation of digital currency and monetary power system in the digital economy era,could we strengthen the value of currency in the modern social landscape.
