Phoenix pattern,one of the decorative patterns on ancient bronze vessels,symbolizes good luck and is often used as a pattern on bronze vessels of the Yin,Shang,and Zhou dynasties.These patterns not only reflect the image of phoenix in the hearts of the people of the Yin,Shang,and Zhou dynasties,but also reflect the mutual integration of different cultures.This article starts from the origin of phoenix patterns,analyzes the image characteristics and significance of phoenix patterns during the Shang and Zhou dynasties,and explores the application of phoenix patterns on bronze in modern design.
