第三空间化的离散翻译空间——兼谈刘宇昆译《三体》

Third Spatialized Diaspora Translation Space:a Look at Ken LIU’s Translation of The Three-Body Problem

全球化背景下,中国众多优秀文学作品借助精彩的译文蜚声国际,与此同时离散译者的翻译研究也受到关注,地理、文化、身份等因素均不具有非此即彼理解的二元特征,这些元素交相辉映,建构了一种杂糅性、多元的翻译空间。离散翻译提供了各种文化混杂协商的空间,具有第三空间的特征。本文以空间理论视域的“第三空间”为视角,以刘宇昆译《三体》为例探讨离散译者创造译本构成的杂合翻译空间及文化意义。

Under the background of globalization,many excellent Chinese literary works have become internationally famous with wonderful translations.Meanwhile,diaspora translators have also attracted studies.Geography,culture,identity and other factors do not have the binary characteristics of either/or understanding,and these elements complement each other to construct a hybrid and diversified translation space.Diaspora translation provides a space for the negotiation of various cultures and takes on the characteristics of Third Space.From the perspective of Third Space in the field of spatial theory,this paper takes Ken Liu’s translation of The Three-Body Problem as an example to discuss the hybrid translation space and cultural significance of the translation created by diaspora translators.
