As China has entered a period of negative population growth,efforts should be made to align its education policies with the changing trends in educational scales at all levels so as to optimize the allocation of educational resources,and promote high-quality development in education,according to Wang Chuanyi,an associate professor at the Institute of Education,Tsinghua University.
