To extract valuable insights from complex data,understand the oilfield's current state,guide its development and make informed decisions that reflect the true potential of“big data”,it is essential to apply statistical methods scientifically.This paper examines the use of statistics in oilfield planning,focusing on information extraction,data analysis,value screening,statistical methods and other relevant knowledge.Specifically,it explores how these statistical techniques are applied to annual schedule of oil production and workload.
