代词“什么”前量词出现的条件及其解释

Occurrence Conditions of Classifiers before Wh-indefinite"Shenme"and an Explanation

现代汉语的虚指性疑问代词前面有时可以出现量词,有时则不能出现量词。之前的研究者多认为虚指性疑问代词前量词的使用情况与虚指性疑问代词的允准环境有关。我们以用作虚指性疑问代词的“什么”为例,通过对相关事实的系统考察,发现虚指性疑问代词前量词的使用情况与虚指性疑问代词的允准环境并无明确对应关系。在对事实进行归纳总结的基础上,我们给出虚指性疑问代词“什么”前量词出现的条件并对条件进行解释。

In Mandarin Chinese,classifiers sometimes can occur before wh-indefinites,but sometimes they cannot.Previous studies claim that the use of classifiers before wh-indefinites is related to the licensing environments of wh-indefinites.Using the wh-indefinite"shenme"(something)as an example,I did a systematic empirical investigation and find that there is no correspondence between the use of classifiers before"shenme"and the licensing environments of"shenme".On the basis of the facts,I provide the conditions for the occurrence of classifiers before wh-indefinite"shenme"and propose an account for the conditions.
