冷战、城乡和三线建设:与美国学者柯尚哲先生的讨论

Cold War, Urban-Rual and Third Front Construction: Discussion with the American Scholar Mr. Meyskens

近年来,海外三线建设研究逐渐热门,不断有学者从政治、经济、社会、企业等角度展开研究,其中美国学者柯尚哲以冷战与军事化为视角,较为全面地对三线建设进行了分析介绍,但其在讨论“冷战”格局下的中国国际环境时,忽视了中美苏三国关系的动态变化,未能理解“三线地区”的深层含义;其“军事化”理论的解释亦不够全面,其“有特权的艰苦”的讨论虽然对城乡、工农关系有所涉及,但论证有限,并且未能将其置于近代中国城乡关系变化的历史长河中考察。

In recent years,overseas Third Front construction research has become increasingly popular,and scholars have continuously carried out research from the political,economic,social,and corporate perspectives.Among them,American scholar Covell F.Meyskens analyzed and introduced the Third Front construction in a more comprehensive manner from the perspective of the Cold War and militarization.However,when discussing China’s international environment under the“Cold War”pattern,Meyskens ignored the dynamic changes in the relationship between China,the United States and the Soviet Union relations and failed to understand the deep meaning of the“Third Front”region;Although the relationship between urban and rural workers and peasants is involved,his analysis is inadequate and should be contextualized within the historical changes in such relationships in modern China.
