南珠18号观赏南瓜是利用中国台湾农友种苗股份有限公司的商品种金天鹅,经6代自交分离筛选而成的优良自交系小果型观赏南瓜新品种。该品种长势及分枝性强,以主蔓结果为主,平均第1雌花节位30.0节,单株结果7个。果实长梨形,果皮颜色上部金黄与橙黄条纹相间,下部深绿色,有瘤状突起。平均果实纵径18.2 cm、横径9.3 cm,平均单果质量538.0 g。适合于广东地区设施栽培,2019年8月通过广东省农作物品种审定委员会审定。

The new small fruit ornamental pumpkin Nanzhu No.18 ornamental pumpkin was selected from the commercial variety Golden Swan of China Taiwan Nongyou Seed and Seedling Co.,Ltd.via six generations of self pollination.The plant grows strongly,and has strong branching.The fruit grows on the main vine,the first female flower is in the thirtieth section,and a single plant can have 7 fruits.The fruit is prolate pear-shaped with about 18.2 cm in length,9.3 cm in width.The pericarp with tubercular protuberance is golden alternate with orange on the upper part,and is dark green on the lower part.The average melon weight is 538.0 g.In August 2019,it had been approved by Guangdong Provincial Crop Variety Certification Committee,and it is suitable for facility cultivation in Guangdong.
