摘要
教育理论与教育实践的关系问题是一个老话题,但却是教育学必须重视的根本性问题。刘佛年既是一位博学多才的教育理论家,也是一位锐意改革的实践者,更是一位把教育理论与教育实践融会贯通的开拓者。他认为,应当追求教育理论的中国化、学术化和科学化,应当开展面向全体学生、关注学生全面发展和面向整体的教育实践。在理论与实践关系上,他强调理论工作者与实际工作者的关系和教育领导部门与教育科研机构的关系,强调教学工作中理论与实践的联系,主张大学要办成教学中心和科学研究中心。他还鼓励中小学教师开展一些教学研究,探索实验研究,撰写教学反思。这些教育思想对当前教育改革仍然具有启示意义。
The issue of the relationship between educational theories and practices has always been classic as well as fundamental in pedagogy.Liu Fonian is a learned educational theorist,a reform-minded practitioner,and also a pioneer in integrating educational theories and educational practices.He believed that educational theories should be pursued to be Chinese,academic and scientific,and that educational practices should be carried out for all students,focusing on their comprehensive development and for the whole.On the relationship between theories and practices,he emphasized the relationship between theoretical workers and practical workers and between educational leadership departments and educational research institutions,the connection between theories and practices in teaching work,and advocated that universities should be run as teaching centers and scientific research centers.He also encouraged primary and secondary school teachers to conduct some teaching research,explore experimental studies,and write reflections on teaching.These educational ideas are still enlightening to the current educational reform.
