反常规叙事视阈下伊恩·麦克尤恩小说家庭伦理解读

An Analysis of Family Ethics in Ian McEwan's Novels from the Perspective of Unnatural Narrative

英国当代作家伊恩·麦克尤恩擅长运用反常规叙事技巧进行创作,其大部分作品都以家庭为单位进行书写,聚焦家庭伦理问题。本文基于反常规叙事相关理论,从反常规叙述者、反常规情感和反常规事件三个维度来解读麦克尤恩小说故事中的不可能世界,进而阐释其作品中的“反常规性”不仅体现在其小说叙事形式上,同时影射在其创作主题中,即反常规的家庭伦理。通过考察和剖析作品中反常规的家庭伦理关系和伦理身份,表明其作品中反常规叙事手法的运用使反常规家庭伦理主题更加鲜明,反之亦然,作品中所隐匿的反常规家庭伦理主题也提升了文本的反常规性,从而揭示出麦克尤恩通过反常规的叙事形式反映家庭伦理的反常规性,给读者以警示的创作意图。

Ian McEwan,a contemporary British writer,is good at writing with unnatural narrative techniques and always focuses on the theme of family ethics in his most novels written in family units.Based on the theory of unnatural narrative,this paper interprets the impossible world in McEwan􀆳s novels from three dimensions:unnatural narrators,unnatural emotions and unnatural events,and further explains that the“unnaturalness”in his works is not only reflected in the narrative form,but also insinuated in the theme of his novels,namely,unnatural family ethics.By exploring and analyzing the unnatural family ethical relationship and ethical identity in McEwan􀆳s works,the paper attempts to show that the theme of unnatural family ethics becomes more vivid because of the application of unnatural narrative and the unnatural family ethics implied in his works also enhances the unnaturalness of the novels,and also demonstrate McEwan􀆳s intention to warn the readers by revealing the unconventional phenomenon of family ethics through the unnatural narrative form.
