摘要
混沌理论出现于20世纪60年代,并于90年代开始逐步应用于文学批评领域。混沌理论强调无序中的有序,无序与有序是相互统一而非二元对立的。其中,“蝴蝶效应”展现了非线性系统对初始状态的敏感依赖,奇异吸引子是影响系统秩序性的重要因素。在文学批评领域,混沌理论主要用于研究非线性叙事,也可用于阐释文本中的秩序、女性文学和空间位移等主题。混沌理论还与后现代文学、解构主义、元小说等文学流派或现象相勾连。混沌理论既与当代人文学科的发展形成了深度契合,其跨学科特性也为化解文学危机提供了有益的尝试。
Chaos theory emerged in the 1960s and began to be applied in the field of literary criticism in the 1990s.It emphasizes orderly disorder,and disorder and order are unified rather than being antithesis.Among all the assumptions of chaos theory,“butterfly effect”shows that in a nonlinear system,the results are sensitive to the initial conditions and strange attractor is an important factor in affecting the order of the system.In the domain of literary criticism,chaos theory can be used to study nonlinear narratives,and to interpret themes like the order in the text,womens literature and spatial displacement.Chaos theory is also associated with postmodern literature,deconstruction,meta-fiction and other literary schools or phenomena.The appearance of chaos theory is not only in deep agreement with the development of contemporary humanities,but also provides a significant attempt to solve the crisis of literature because of its interdisciplinary characteristics.
