With the support and guidance of national policies,the need for realistic conditions,technological innovation and the development of the documentary industry,documentary films on intangible cultural heritage have shown a spurt of growth,but they also face many problems in their development.The creation of intangible cultural heritage documentaries requires strengthening cultural consciousness,recording the appearance of intangible cultural heritage,and showcasing excellent traditional culture;putting people first and highlighting popular culture;reflecting the spirit of the times and be close to mainstream culture.Only in this way can people break through the bottleneck in the development of intangible cultural heritage documentaries and help their creation move from the“plateau”to the“peak”.
