Three Ways for the CPC to Carry Forward the Spirit of Historical Initiative before the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

历史主动精神是中国共产党勇担历史重任、科学把握历史发展规律和大势、主动应对风险和挑战的宝贵精神品格。中华人民共和国成立前夕,面对新民主主义革命胜利后党的工作重心的转移以及新形势与新任务所带来的诸多风险和挑战,中国共产党充分发扬历史主动精神,通过加强党的自身建设来引领党和国家事业更好地前进。这主要体现在:基于对现实形势的科学分析和判断,组织全党系统学习马克思主义理论,探究人类社会历史发展的基本规律和总体趋势,并且在马克思主义理论的指导下科学分析和总结近代以来世界革命和中国革命的历史经验,把握中国社会发展的历史特点和方位,从而正确理解和贯彻中华人民共和国成立时所实行的重要方针政策。

The spirit of historical initiative is a precious spirit for the Communist Party of China(CPC)to shoulder the historical responsibility,scientifically grasp the law and general trend of historical development,and take the initiative to deal with risks and challenges.Before the founding of the People’s Republic of China,faced with the shift of the Party’s focus after the victory of the new democratic revolution and risks and challenges brought by the new situation and new tasks,the CPC fully carried forward the spirit of historical initiative and advanced the cause of the Party and the country by strengthening the Party building.This is mainly reflected in the following aspects.On the basis of scientific analysis and judgment of the actual situation,the CPC organized the whole Party to systematically study Marxist theory,and explored the basic laws and general trend of the historical development of human society.In addition,under the guidance of Marxist theory,the CPC scientifically analyzed and summarized the historical experience of the world revolution and Chinese revolution since modern times,and grasped the historical charac-teristics and position of China’s social development to correctly understand and implement the major state policies when the People’s Republic of China was founded.
