基于英语口语技能大赛的高职英语教学改革探索

Exploration on the Reform of English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges Based on the English Speaking Skill Competition

随着经济全球化的不断深化,英语口语技能在社会领域逐渐显现出其重要性。高职院校着力强化英语口语技能教学,能有效提升学生口语应用能力,实现学科育人目标。但在现阶段高职英语教学中,仍然存在学生口语基础薄弱、教学模式落后、口语训练较少、口语测评不完善等问题,尚未从根源上实现口语教学,不利于学生实践需求的满足。对此情况,院校需从根源角度出发,强化学生口语基础、创新教学模式、加强口语训练、完善口语测评,不断提升学校英语口语人才质量。

With the deepening of economic globalization,oral English skills have gradually shown its importance in the social field.Higher vocational colleges focus on strengthening the teaching of oral English skills,which can effectively improve students'oral application ability and achieve the goal of subject education.However,in the current stage of English teaching in higher vocational colleges,there are still problems such as weak oral English foundation,backward teaching mode,less oral English training,and imperfect oral English assessment.In this situation,colleges and universities need to start from the root cause,strengthen students'oral English foundation,innovate teaching models,strengthen oral English training,improve oral English assessment,and continuously improve the quality of school English speaking talents.
