FU Wen-Bin’s Experience in Treating Impotence by Integrated Acupunctureand Moxibustion Therapy of Soothing Liver and Regulating Mind

阳痿又称勃起功能障碍,针灸治疗阳痿有一定疗效。符文彬教授认为,气机郁滞、心神失守、宗筋失养为阳痿的病机,治疗可采用疏肝调神整合针灸疗法,选穴以任脉、督脉、足厥阴肝经穴为主。“一针二灸三巩固”整合针灸治疗模式的主要选穴如下:针刺选用百会、印堂、引气归元穴组(中脘、下脘、气海、关元)、太冲、合谷、三阴交和水道;精灸选用引气归元穴组(中脘、下脘、气海、关元)、肾俞、命门、涌泉等;刺络放血选用双侧心俞、肝俞;皮内针选穴肝俞、心俞、肾俞等,以巩固治疗。“一针二灸三巩固”的疏肝调神整合针灸疗法治疗肝气郁滞型阳痿的效果较佳。

Impotence,also known as erectile dysfunction,can be treated with acupuncture and moxibustion.In the view of Professor FU Wen-Bin,the pathogenesis of impotence is due to the stagnation of the qi movement,the dysfunction of heart spirit and inadequate nourishment of penis,and the treatment of impotence can be achieved with integrated acupuncture and moxibustion therapy of soothing liver and regulating mind,mainly on the acupoints of the conception vessel(CV),governor vessel(GV),and the foot jueyin liver meridian.The primary acupoints for the integrated acupuncture and moxibustion therapy model of“acupuncture firstly,moxibustion secondly,and consolidation at the end”are as follows:the acupoints for acupuncture are Baihui(GV20),Yintang(EX-HN3),acupoint group for conducting qi back to its source[Zhongwan(CV12),Xiawan(CV10),Qihai(CV6)and Guanyuan(CV4)],Taichong(LR3),Hegu(LI4),Sanyinjiao(SP6)and Shuidao(ST28);the acupoints for refined moxibustion are the acupoint group for conducting qi back to its source[Zhongwan(CV12),Xiawan(CV10),Qihai(CV6)and Guanyuan(CV4)],Shenshu(BL23),Mingmen(CV4)and Yongquan(KI1);the collateral bloodletting therapy is performed usually on bilateral acupoints of Xinshu(BL15)and Ganshu(BL18);intradermal needling is performed usually on acupoints of Ganshu(BL18),Xinshu(BL15),Shenshu(BL23),etc.,so as to consolidate the efficacy.The integrated acupuncture and moxibustion therapy of“acupuncture firstly,moxibustion secondly,and consolidation at the end”is effective in treating impotence caused by the stagnation of liver qi.
