Stroke is one of the most common diseases in clinic,which is mostly in middle-aged and elderly people,it has the characteristics of rapid onset,long course of disease,poor prognosis,and complex and changeable disease,which seriously affects the quality of life of patients.The convalescence period of stroke refers to the relatively stable period after the stroke,after the treatment has passed the critical period.Convalescent course is long,and the condition is complex,many sequelae and complications of different degrees are left,so the treatment and nursing is particularly important,which is directly related to the rehabilitation effect and quality of life of patients in the later period.On the basis of basic nursing,nursing methods combined with traditional Chinese medicine can ameliorate the condition of patients,reduce the disability rate,contribute to the rehabilitation of patients.The recovery period of stroke is a long process,which requires nurses to have a high sense of responsibility and do a good job of emotional,dietary,clinical and functional exercise and other aspects of nursing.In addition to routine clinical treatment,routine nursing work is also very important in convalescence.In the nursing process,giving active play of the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine,skillful and good application of traditional Chinese medicine nursing methods according to the individual differences of patients can help to develop specific traditional Chinese medicine nursing plans,which will assist patients to complete them,so as to achieve the desired effect.By applying reasonable,appropriate and scientific TCM nursing methods,combining basic nursing with TCM characteristic nursing,it can not only improve the sequelae of stroke,but also reduce the negative impact of complications,promote the recovery of the condition,effectively ameliorate the condition of stroke convalescence,increase the curative effect of rehabilitation,enhance the patient’s self-confidence and self-care ability,and improve the quality of life of the patient,thereby reducing the burden on families and society.This paper analyzes the nursing measures of stroke convalescence with TCM characteristics under the current environment,especially the detailed and in-depth description of the basic nursing measures existing in the stroke recovery period,in order to improve the level of basic TCM rehabilitation nursing measures.
