Chinese Culture:The Shaping of Chinese History

在很长的一段时期内,优秀的、先进的文化,构筑起了中华文明的基本框架。从源远流长的历史连续性来认识中国,能够看到中华文明的显著特点,也能够看到优秀的传统文化对中华民族现代文明起到的推动作用。从中西比较的角度看,有必要阐明中国文化对中国历史的建构,以及中国文化中和谐要素的重要作用。从历史的角度看,中国文化促进了国家与自然生态、国家与民族、国家与社会等多个层面的和谐。中华文明与西方文明存在着差异,但也是能够交流互鉴的。

For a long period of time,the advanced and fine culture has shaped the basic framework of Chinese civilization.To understand China through its consistent long history,one can see not only the distinctive features of Chinese civilization,but also the role that fine traditional culture plays in promoting the modern Chinese civilization.It is necessary to clarify the shaping of Chinese history by Chinese culture and the key role of harmonious elements of Chinese culture,from the China-West comparison perspective.Chinese culture promotes the multi-dimension harmony between the state and the natural ecology,the state and the nation,the state and society respectively.Though there exists differences between Chinese and Western civilizations,they can mutually complement to eachother.
