摘要
工作记忆是影响二语学习能力的一个重要因素。采用元分析方法对国内外核心期刊上近30年公开发表的33篇有关工作记忆与二语学习能力关系的论文进行整合分析。结果发现:1.工作记忆与二语学习能力总体呈中度相关。2.工作记忆与语言学习中产出性能力的相关度高于其与接受性能力的相关度。3.在工作记忆的四种不同测量方法中,通过言语材料并能够同时测量加工和存储两种能力的测量方法对二语学习能力的预测力最强。
Working memory(WM)is an important factor influencing second language performance.A meta-analysis is conducted of 33 studies on the relations between WM and second language performance in key journals abroad and at home.The fi ndings are:1.There is a moderate positive correlation between WM and second language performance.2.The coefficient between WM and productive abilities is higher than that between WM and receptive abilities.3.Among the four types of working memory capacity(WMC)measures,the one which taps the combined processing and storage capacity using verbal materials is a good predictor of second language performance.
