As an important focus of implementing quality-oriented education,aesthetic education is an inevitable choice for cultivating students’spiritual beauty,behavior beauty and building socialist spiritual civilization.Under the background of the new era,aesthetic education for college students has become an important means of establishing cultural self-confidence and building a culturally powerful country,and plays a decisive role in improving students’aesthetic quality and humanistic quality.Starting from the connotation and function of aesthetic education,this paper analyzes the current situation and difficulties of aesthetic education in colleges and universities,and puts forward the reform path and strategies of aesthetic education in colleges and universities,so as to help the new development of aesthetic education in colleges and universities.
