摘要
为了获得光纤激光器的基模LP_(01)和高阶模式LP_(11)同时输出,采用环形腔结构,少模光纤的受激布里渊散射效应和单模掺铒光纤的增益共同提供腔内放大,利用模式选择耦合器进行腔内模式间的转换,单模/少模光纤耦合器分别提供激光输出。实验结果表明,LP_(01)模式和LP_(11)模式能够同时输出,和种子光相比波长偏移均为0.12 nm,输出光谱信噪比分别为22.69 dB和74.827 dB,功率转换效率分别为4.6×10^(-3)%和7.827%,波长稳定性分别为0.54 nm和0.026 nm,功率稳定性分别为3.277 dB和1.262 dB。研究结果可为多输出模式光纤激光器的后续应用提供参考光源。
In order to obtain the simultaneous outputs of LP_(01) mode and LP_(11) mode,a Brillouin few-mode-fiber laser with ring cavity structure is built.In the laser cavity,the simulated Brillouin scattering in the few-mode-fiber and the amplified spontaneous emission of single-mode erbium doped fiber provide the laser gain;the mode-selective couplers make the mode conversion between LP_(01) mode and LP_(11) mode;and the single-mode-fiber coupler and fewmode-fiber coupler provide the coupled laser output,respectively.The experimental results show that the LP_(01) mode and LP_(11)mode lasers have 0.12nm wavelength increasement to the pump light;22.69 dB and 74.827 dB signal-noise-ratios are obtained for the two lasers,and the optical efficiencies are 4.603×10^(-3)%and 7.827%,respectively;the two modes laser have 0.54 nm and 0.026 nm wavelength stability,and 3.277 dB and 1.262 dB intensity stabilities.The above results could provide technical reference for the multi-modes laser application.
