黑龙江红色文化资源英译策略探究

English Translation Strategies of Heilongjiang Red Culture

黑龙江红色文化资源是中国共产党领导中国人民,在黑龙江土地上斗争实践过程中创造的物质及精神财富,展现了不惧艰险、砥砺前行的精神风貌。文章提出黑龙江红色文化资源可分为红色物质文化资源及红色非物质文化资源两大类,并考察了黑龙江红色文化文本的词汇、句法、语篇及修辞特征,探究了黑龙江红色文化资源的方言释义、无主句增译主语、黑话形式保留、黑话释义、语篇逻辑显化、典故意象再现、典故释义等英译策略,旨在促使黑龙江红色文化“走出去”,并为文化翻译提供参考。

Heilongjiang red culture is the material and spiritual wealth created by the Communist Party of China in the course of struggle and practice on the land of Heilongjiang,showing the spirit of marching forward without fear of hardships and dangers.The paper points out that the red cultural resources in Heilongjiang can be divided into two categories,that is,red tangible cultural resources and intangible cultural resources.Lexical,syntactic,discourse,and rhetoric features are examined in this paper.Taking Heilongjiang red cultural texts as examples,this paper explores the English translation strategies especially applied to the texts of Heilongjiang red culture,including paraphrasing of dialects,addition of the subjects in subjectless sentences,reservation of argot forms,paraphrasing of argots,manifestation of discourse logicality,reproduction of the same images of allusions and paraphrase of allusions,etc.The paper aims to take the Heilongjiang red culture to the global stage and provide references for culture translation.
