Kan Jiaming is a talented contemporary poetess,well-know both in China and abroad for her elegant poetry and distinctive style.She wrote hundreds of poems in her life,which can be roughly di-vided into nostalgic,landscape and compliment poems,conveying her missing of her homeland and precious old days.Her style is gloomy,natural,emotional and lyrical,as well as sincere and clear with smart words.The poems created by Kan Jiaming from her special perspective of living abroad are of value in studying the history of overseas scholars.As a female poet,she broadened the aesthetic char-acter of poetry with a unique aesthetic feeling different from the male ones.
