摘要
“如画”是兴起于18世纪英国的美学术语,用于形容适合入画的各种物象。在吉尔平、普莱斯、奈特等理论家探讨下,“如画”逐渐成为比肩“优美”与“崇高”的美学范畴,并对西方审美趣味与风景画的发展起到了至关重要的作用。19世纪英国的杰出风景画家透纳的美学思想与绘画实践在很大程度上受到了“如画”范畴的影响,其风景画作的选题、构图、技法等均蕴含着“如画”观念。
“Picturesque”is an aesthetic term that emerged in England in the 18th century to describe various objects suitable for painting.Under the discussion of Gilpin,Price,Knight and other theorists,it has gradu-ally become an aesthetic category that is comparable to“beautiful”and“sublime”,and has played a crucial 0x09role in the development of Western aesthetic taste and landscape painting.As an outstanding British landscape painter in the 19th century,Turner’s aesthetic thought and painting practice were largely influenced by the“picturesque”view.Through the analysis of Turner’s painting topics,composition,techniques and other as-pects,we will excavate the“picturesque”concept contained in his landscape paintings.
