胃食管反流病(GERD)是老年人最常见的消化系统疾病之一,其不仅限于食管症状,还包括多种食管外症状。本文对老年人GERD的诊治及其与食管裂孔疝、非心源性胸痛、慢性咽喉炎以及慢性呼吸系统疾病的关系,逐一进行简要介绍,期望借此提高临床医生对老年人GERD及其相关疾病的认识,做到早识别、早诊断、早治疗,以减少此类疾病对老年人的危害。

Gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)is a prevalent digestive disorder among the elderly population,manifesting not only with esophageal symptoms but also exhibiting various extraesophageal manifestations.This article aims to provide a concise overview of diagnosing and treating GERD in older adults,while highlighting its correlation with esophageal hiatal hernia,non-cardiac chest pain,chronic pharyngitis,and chronic respiratory diseases.By enhancing clinicians'understanding of GERD and its related conditions in elderly patients,this article strives to facilitate early identification,diagnosis,and effective management,thereby mitigating the detrimental impact of GERD on the elderly population.
