变译理论视域下的《淮南子》成语译介思考

On the Translation of the Idioms in Huainanzi from the Perspective of Variational Translation Theory

《淮南子》成语是淮南地方文化的历史积淀与瑰宝,富含哲理、意蕴深远。运用变译理论探讨《淮南子》成语的译介传播,提出成语译介中的“守正”与“创新”原则,强调《淮南子》成语的分类译介要以推广淮南地方文化、构建地方文化软实力为依托。同时,通过译介例证,思考运用灵活变译的译介手段来把握目标读者的理解差异,整合多元传播媒介,创新译介路径与模式,为《淮南子》成语的译介和跨文化传播提供新思路。

The idioms in Huainanzi are the historical accumulation and treasure of Huainan local culture with rich philosophy and profound meaning.By employing the variational translation theory to explore the translation and dissemination of the idioms in Huainanzi,this paper intends to put forward the principles of“holding the bottom line”and“innovation”in the translation of idioms,and holds that the classification and translation of the idioms in Huainanzi should be aimed at promoting Huainan local culture and building its cultural soft power.Through examples of idiom translation,this paper ponders on the use of the flexible translation methods of the variational translation theory to deal with the differences of target readers,integrate multiple communication media,and innovate translation paths and models,so as to provide new ideas for the translation and cross-cultural communication of the idioms in Huainanzi.
