摘要
目的为了改善铸造生产中汽车发动机缸体的质量而开展的水分对湿型砂性能影响的研究。方法对湿型砂烘干后重新加水混和观察水分对湿型砂性能的影响。结果从实验中,得到下面一些粗浅的认识:紧实率随着水分的增加而增加,根据实际生产,紧实率要求对应的水分为3.5%~4.0%;透气性先是随着水分的增加而增加,然后降低,形成一个峰值,其对应的水分为5%;抗压强度随着水分的添加先上升后下降,最大值对应的水分为4.5%;破碎指数随着水分的增加而增加,水分大于5%时,能够满足实际生产的要求。结论综合4种性能的要求,水分在4.5%时综合性能最好。
Objective To improve the quality of automobile engine cylinder block in foundry production,the effect of moisture on the properties of green sand was studied.Methods The influence of water content on the properties of green sand was studied by adding water again after drying the green sand.Results The experiment showed that the compaction rate increased with the increase of moisture content.According to the actual production,the corresponding moisture content of the compaction rate was required to be between 3.5%and 4.0%;The permeability first increased with the increase of moisture content,and then decreased,forming a peak value,which corresponded to 5%moisture content;The compressive strength increased first and then decreased with the addition of water,and the maximum value corresponded to 4.5%of water;The crushing index increased with the increase of moisture content.When the moisture content was greater than 5%,it could meet the requirements of actual production.Conclusion The comprehensive performance was best when the moisture content was 4.5%.
