Africa is the second fastest growing economy in the world,and within it,the northern Africa has the best endowment conditions.It is expected to build an industrial system with balanced development and occupy a dominant position in the industrial chain.In the east,the market is active with a fast growing economy and a large demand gap and a low degree of resource exploitation.The market in the southern Africa is concentrated in South Africa alone.Western Africa and Central Africa are traditional resource rich areas,but the market potential is limited.In the field of energy and chemical industry,Africa is rich in oil and gas resources,with huge potential for offshore resources,low degree of exploration and development,fast growth in demand for refined oil products,and high growth in chemical consumption.China-African relations have entered the best period in history,but the level of development in the five sub-regions of Northern Africa,Southern Africa,Eastern Africa,Western Africa and Central Africa is uneven,and differentiated investment strategies should be adopted respectively,while paying high attention to preventing security,compliance and exchange rate risks.
