窝沟封闭术联合口腔保健教育对儿童龋齿的预防效果

Preventive effect of pit and fissure sealing combined with oral health education on dental caries in children

目的探讨窝沟封闭术联合口腔保健教育对儿童龋齿的预防效果。方法选取菏泽市牡丹人民医院口腔科2021年5月至2022年5月收治的78例患儿,以随机抽签法分为两组,每组各39例。对照组患儿行窝沟封闭术,观察组患儿在对照组的基础上联合口腔保健教育,对两组患儿的龋齿发生情况、治疗前后龋均值与龋面均值、牙周健康指标展开对比。结果观察组患儿3个月、6个月的龋齿发生率低于对照组(P<0.05)。干预后,观察组患儿的龋均值与龋面均值低于对照组(P<0.05)。观察组患儿的牙周探诊深度、龈沟出血指数评分与菌斑指数评分均低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论窝沟封闭术联合口腔保健教育可有效预防儿童龋齿发生,提高其牙周健康水平。

Objective To explore the preventive effect of pit and fissure sealing combined with oral health education on dental caries in children.Methods A total of 78 children admitted to the Department of Stomatology of Heze Mudan People’s Hospital were selected from May 2021 to May 2022 and divided into two groups by random lottery method,with 39 cases in each group.The control group received pit and fissure sealing,while the observation group received oral health education on the basis of the control group.The incidence of dental caries,the mean value of caries and caries surface before and after treatment,and periodontal health indicators of the two groups were compared.Results The incidence of dental caries in the observation group was lower than that in the control group at 3 and 6 months(P<0.05).After intervention,the mean caries and surface caries values in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The periodontal probing depth,sulcus bleeding index score and plaque index score of children in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of pit and fissure sealing and oral health education can effectively prevent the occurrence of dental caries in children and improve their periodontal health level.
