摘要
语法是语言知识的重要组成部分,掌握语法知识有助于提高学生的读写能力,而运用正确的学习策略是掌握语法知识的基础与前提。为了解英语专业大学生英语语法学习策略的使用情况,发现策略使用中存在的问题,对新疆某高校英语专业学生进行了英语语法学习策略问卷调查,结果表明:学生英语语法学习策略整体使用水平不高,语法学习策略四个维度的使用频率由高往低依次为:社会策略、元认知策略、情感策略、认知策略。目前,学生英语语法学习过程中还存在学习目标不清晰、师生交流缺乏、主动归纳意识较薄弱等问题。高校英语专业教师应加强自身对语法学习策略的掌握和运用,改变长期演绎式的教学方法,帮助和引导学生从实际的语言运用中发现与归纳语法结构,使学生有意识地使用语法学习策略,并主动了解学生学习过程中存在的困难与问题,加强师生之间语法学习交流,从而使语法学习事半功倍。
English grammar is an important part of language knowledge.Mastering grammar knowledge could improve students'reading and writing ability,and using correct learning strategies is the basis of mastering grammar knowledge.In order to know English majors'current situation of using grammar learning strategies,this study conducted a questionnaire survey on English grammar learning strategies among English majors in a university in Xinjiang.The results show that students'overall use of English grammar learning strategies is not high,and the frequency of using grammar learning strategies from high to low is:social strategy,metacognitive strategy,affective strategy,cognitive strategy.At present,there are still some problems in the process of students'grammar learning,such as unclear learning objectives,lack of teacher-student communication and lower awareness of actively induction.In view of the results of the survey,teachers are advocated to strengthen their mastery and application of grammar learning strategies,change the long-term deductive teaching methods,help and guide students to discover and summarize grammar structures from actual language use,and make students consciously use grammar learning strategies,so as to get twice the result with half the effort.
