《十六阿罗应真图》与石涛早期的罗汉画

摘要 《十六阿罗应真图》是石涛早期的罗汉画作品。此图的款识写出了石涛学佛的师承关系,将师承关系题写在款识中反映出石涛绘制罗汉画的佛门身份认同与虔诚态度。此图呈现出石涛早期绘画的艺术特点,整体上营造出清逸俊秀、儒雅平淡的艺术风格,也呈现出石涛在人物画创作方面的造诣与成就。有学者认为石涛此图受到李公麟的影响,但未见有说服力的证据。此图与李公麟的艺术风格、技法特点有一定的相通性。 Sixteen Arhats constitutes one of Shitao's early depictions of arhats.The colophon of this picture states Buddhist faith,which he inherited through the traditional master-disciple mode,further attesting to his Buddhist identity and pious attitude in painting arhats.This work displays the characteristics of Shitao's early painting style,which may on the whole be described as agreeable,elegant,and plain.Moreover,it also shows his achievements in figure painting.Some scholars believe that Shitao was infLuenced by Li Gonglin in creating this painting,however,no convincing evidence has been found to support this idea.Sixteen Arhats does nevertheless present certain similarities with Li Gonglin's artistic style and technique.
