美国华裔文学语境里的中医形象探究

Exploration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Images in the Context of Chinese American Literature

中医药在抗击新冠病毒疫情中发挥了巨大的作用,广受赞誉,助力了中医医生积极正面形象的建立。但美国华裔作家如汤婷婷和谭恩美所塑造的中医形象,仍摆脱不了对中国文化的俗套设定:中医是具有鬼魅气质、魔幻特点的医生,与现实世界的中医相去甚远,使我们不得不探究作者创作中医形象时除美学思考之外所携带的其他因素,也促使人们去思考这样的中医形象会如何影响中医药文化的进一步传播。

Traditional Chinese medicine has played a huge role in combating the COVID-19 epidemic,and has been widely praised,helping TCM doctors to establish a positive image.However,the image of Chinese medicine created by Chinese American writers,such as Kingston and Amy Tan,cannot get rid of the stereotype of Chinese culture:Chinese medicine is a doctor with ghost temperament and magic characteristics,which is far from the real world.We have to explore other factors that the author carries when creating images of traditional Chinese medicine,in addition to aesthetic considerations,and also encourage people to think about how such images of traditional Chinese medicine will affect the further dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine culture.
