数字金融对碳排放的直接与间接效应——基于省级面板数据的实证分析

Direct and Indirect Effects of Digital Finance on Carbon Emissions:An empirical analysis based on provincial panel data

近年来,数字金融发展迅速,绿色金融工具的广泛应用有助于缓解碳排放的压力,为实现“双碳”目标提供了现实方案。基于30个省(区、市)2011—2019年面板数据,检验数字金融对碳排放的影响及作用机制。研究发现:数字金融对碳排放具有明显的直接效应,并通过优化产业结构对碳排放产生间接效应;且直接效应在中东部地区显著,在西部地区不显著;间接效应均不显著,其中在中东部表现为遮掩效应。最后,从促进数字金融产业发展、数字金融引导产业结构优化、区域金融发展平衡等方面提出相应对策建议。

In recent years,digital finance has developed rapidly.The wide application of green financial instruments helps to alleviate the pressure of carbon emissions and provides a realistic solution for achieving the“double carbon”goal.Based on panel data of 30 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)from 2011 to 2019,the impact of digital finance on carbon emissions and its mechanism are tested.The research finds that digital finance has obvious direct effects on carbon emissions,and has indirect effects on carbon emissions by optimizing industrial structure;And the direct effect is significant in the central and eastern regions,but not in the western regions.The indirect effects are not significant,among which the masking effect is shown in the middle and eastern regions.Finally,corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from the aspects of promoting the development of digital finance industry,guiding the optimization of industrial structure by digital finance,and balancing the development of regional finance.
