Saussure's Life and Academic Evaluation

叙述现代语言学大家索绪尔的生平、著作,阐述其学术地位与评价。将索绪尔的生命历程分为出身与青少年时期、德国求学时期、巴黎时期和日内瓦大学任教时期四个时期,介绍给索绪尔带来世界影响的《普通语言学教程》的研究状况,认为索绪尔的语言学理论不是对先哲和时贤学术观点的整合,而是以任意性为第一原则、以相互关系为基础构建的语言符号学。

This paper describes the life and works of Saussure,a famous modern linguist,and expounds his academic status and evaluation.This paper divides Saussure's life course into four periods:the period of birth and adolescence,the period of studying in Germany,the period of Paris and the period of teaching at the University of Geneva.It introduces the research situation of Course in General Linguistics,which has brought worldwide influence to Saussure,and holds that Saussure's linguistic theory is based on linguistic semiotics,which takes arbitrariness as the first principle and is built on the basis of mutual relations,instead of the integration of the academic viewpoints of sages.
