Experience by Professor LI Nianhu in Treating Cervical Vertigo with Geteng Erxian Decoction(葛藤二仙汤)

颈源性眩晕机制不明,属中医学颈痹、眩晕范畴。李念虎教授认为其临床证型以肝肾不足多见,治宜温补肝肾、舒筋通络。以经验方葛藤二仙汤为主方,在此基础上辨证加减,取得了良好的临床疗效。总结其学术经验,并以临床验案加以佐证。

Cervical vertigo pertains to the category of cervical obstruction and dizziness in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),and its pathogenesis is unclear.Professor LI Nianhu holds that the common syndrome types in clinic are deficiency of liver and kidney,and therefore warming and tonifying liver and kidney,relaxing sinew and activating collaterals should be applied.Experienced formula,Geteng Erxian Decoction(葛藤二仙汤),is the major formula for this disease,and by modification of this formula based on syndrome differentiation,there would be good clinical efficacy.The academic experience is summarized and illustrated with proved case in clinic.
