教师直言是指教师在专业生活中以语言为中介,与学生等教育相关者之间正直坦率、有责任的、审慎勇敢、不惧风险的批判、坚守信念为真,言说真话实话的教育行动。但因对教育风险的规避、教育本身的复杂性、师生之间的冲突以及师生主客体关系影响,面临潜在的遮蔽。教师之所以直言,源自教育本身的规定性,教师职业使命的驱动,教育意义生发之使然,以及教育场域话语优势之所在。如何让教师直言彰显,在于教师要坚守以人为目的和常怀高贵心灵,修炼教育机智,涵养教育勇气,构建师生主体间性,以直言契约予以保障。
