The rapid growth and increasing market transactions of digital collectibles have sparked a gold rush,drawing attention from all around the world.Despite the ambiguity about the concept and interrelationships of digital collectibles,the lure of high returns attract enthusiasts to enter the market.This article explores the business model of such transactions through a literature review,case comparison analysis,and SWOT analysis,concluding that digital collectible platforms play a crucial role in the development of the digital collectibles industry chain and have the potential to change the dynamics of the art market by creating low barriers to entry and traceable intellectual property rights sharing.Though currently encryption technology is still relatively weak,leading to a high risk of NFT theft,as technology continues to improve,the potential for NFT to revolutionize the market will once again be ignited,resulting in a growing number of artists and consumers.
