美颜面孔对社交外表焦虑个体注意偏向的影响

Effect of beautified facial pictures on attentional bias in individuals with social appearance anxiety

目的 考察美颜面孔图呈现时,大学生的社交外表焦虑程度是否影响其对生图面孔的注意偏向及性别的调节效应。方法 采用社交外表焦虑量表筛选出高、低社交外表焦虑大学生各30名(每组被试中男女生各15名)来参与一项考察注意偏向的实验,实验采用了经典的点探测范式。结果 (1)在同时呈现美颜面孔和生图面孔时,社交外表焦虑影响个体对于生图面孔的注意偏向,具体表现为高社交外表焦虑个体对生图面孔的注意回避倾向。(2)性别因素调节了社交外表焦虑个体对于生图面孔的注意偏向。在男性群体中,高焦虑者对生图面孔存在注意回避的现象,而在女性和低焦虑男性中,对两类面孔的注意反应无差异。结论 美颜面孔的出现会影响高社交外表焦虑个体对面孔信息的注意偏向,且性别在其中起到调节作用。

Objective To examine whether college students who are anxious with social appearance have an attentional bias toward the real facial pictures and the moderating effect of gender when presented with a beautified facial pictures.Methods Sixty college students(half of each gender) with high and low social appearance anxiety were screened with the Social Appearance Anxiety Scale to participate in an attentional bias experiment in which the classical point detection paradigm was used.Results(1) Social appearance anxiety affected attentional bias of individuals toward real facial pictures when presented with a beautified facial picture and a real facial picture,as evidenced by the tendency of individuals with high social appearance anxiety to avoid the real facial pictures.(2) Gender moderated the attentional bias of social appearance anxious individuals toward real facial pictures.In the male group,individuals with high anxiety showed attention avoidance to real facial pictures,while in females and low-anxiety males,there was no difference in the attentional response to the two types of faces.Conclusion The presence of beautified facial pictures affects the attentional bias of individuals with high social appearance anxiety to face information,and gender plays a moderating role in this.
