广西钦州钦江故城考古调查简报

Brief Report of Archaeological Survey in Ancient City of Qinjiang in Qinzhou of Guangxi

2015年夏,四川大学考古文博学院、广西文物保护与考古研究所和钦州市博物馆对广西壮族自治区钦州市钦州故城进行了考古调查。本次工作廓清了城址的形制,确认了城墙的结构和城门、城壕、人工河道等遗迹,并解剖了两段城墙,清理了6座灰坑及多个柱洞。同时,出土了一批陶瓷器、铜器和莲花纹瓦当等建筑材料。根据出土遗物和相关文献记载,推测该城址为隋至唐初时期钦州州治钦江县所在。

In the summer of 2015,Sichuan University's School of Archaeology and Museology,Guangxi Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology,and the Qinzhou Municipal Museum carried out an archaeological survey in the Ancient City of Qinzhou in present-day Qinzhou City of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.The survey,for the first time,revealed the city layout,the struc-ture of the city walls,gateway,moat,and man-made river course.Two sections of the city wall were profiled,from which six ash pits and multiple postholes were discovered.In the meanwhile,artifacts such as pottery and porcelain,bronze vessels,and eave-end tiles with a lotus pattern were unearthed.We propose,on the basis of the excavated artifacts and relevant documentation,that the city shall be the Qinjiang County which was supervised by the Qinzhou Prefecture in the Sui to early Tang Dynasties.
