摘要
伦勃朗在肖像画中经常使用金链这一元素,其晚期肖像画《亚里士多德与荷马半身像》中亚里士多德引人注目的金链曾不仅被视为宇宙与秩序的象征,还被看做世俗荣誉及愿望的投射。金链代表世俗荣誉的同时也意味着束缚,结合伦勃朗的生活态度、艺术风格和艺术道路可知,其既不接受获得金链赏赐所表达的社会地位与艺术成就,也不接受获得金链所必须接受的束缚,并借亚里士多德表达对此不屑。
Rembrandt frequently depictes the golden chains in his portraits.In his late portrait Aristotle and the Homer Bust,Rembrandt takes Aristotle’s golden chain as symbolic allusions:not only as a symbol of the universe and cosmos,but also as the secular honor of an artist and worldly ambition in career success.Seen from Rembrandt’s life attitude,artistic style and art career,he expresses his disdain through Aristotle’s golden chain,since he neither accepts the social status and artistic achievement expressed by obtaining the gold chain reward,nor does he accept the bondage that must be accepted by obtaining the gold chain.
