毛泽东关于青年国防教育的思想,是在科学研判革命形势及青年特点的基础上,在直接参与指导陕甘宁边区国防教育的实践中逐渐建构起来的,历经中央苏区教育实践的早期探索、陕甘宁边区初期的进一步发展、全面抗战爆发后的逐渐成熟。在此过程中,深入贯彻到各院校的教学当中,直接推动了青年国防教育取得良好的实践效果。

Mao Zedong Thought on youth defense education was developed on the basis of scientifically evaluating the revolutionary situation and characteristics of youth,as well as his cumulative experience of directly guiding the defense education in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border area.Mao Zedong Thought on youth defense education went through three stages,that is,its early stage of educational practice in the Central Soviet Area,the advanced development stage in the preliminary construction of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border area and the maturity stage after the comprehensive Anti-Japanese War.Mao Zedong Thought on youth defense education was deeply implemented into the teaching activities of the colleges,which directly promoted the practice effect of youth defense education.
