摘要
《共产党宣言》在中国的传播已逾百年,翻译活动对其作为经典的建构起重要作用。本文立足译者主体性,考察该书百年传播历程中的译者之为,区分和探析不同译者群体翻译或诠释思想的差异,突出和揭示共产党及其领导的译者对《共产党宣言》经典地位的建构历程与方式。研究发现,机构翻译、副文本增加、党内必读的阅读方式是其经典地位确立的重要方式。有鉴于《共产党宣言》在不同时期的复译和校定建构了文本的虚涵数意,研究须进一步回归历史语境,对之详加解读。
The dissemination of The Communist Manifesto has been over a century in China,during which its canonization has been greatly influenced by translation activities.This paper examines the varying interpretations of different translators of the Communist Manifesto,emphasizing their contributions to the canonization of the book,taking into consideration the subjective nature of the translators.It is revealed that institutionalized translation,paratext,and a“must-read”by the members of the Communist Party of China have established it as one of the most classic Marxist writings.The pluri-signation of the text,through retranslations and revisions in different stages,can be further interpreted in historical contexts.
