摘要
数字平台为用户带来便利服务的同时也带来隐私泄露的风险,让人产生隐私边界震荡感。本文基于传播隐私管理理论,通过深度访谈法和问卷调查法,探究了用户使用数字平台时隐私边界震荡感的形成机制。本文发现,隐私边界协调的三个过程通过影响平台信任进而影响隐私边界震荡感的形成,这一结果对隐私控制感不同的人有不同效果。研究将传播隐私管理理论从人际传播拓展到了人机传播,也为隐私概念的意涵、人与技术的关系提供了新的思考。
Digital platforms have provided great convenience but also greatly increased privacy risks,which leads to privacy boundary turbulence.Based on Communication Privacy Management(CPM)theory,this paper explores the mechanisms of privacy boundary turbulence in non-social context using in-depth interview and questionnaire methods.This paper finds that the platform trust mediates the relationship between privacy boundary coordination and privacy boundary turbulence,and privacy control is a moderator in this relationship.This study validates and develops the explanatory power of CPM theory in nonsocial contexts,and also provides more thoughtful discussions on privacy concepts and the relationship between human and technology.
