短视频使用、家长干预与儿童学业成绩之关系研究 被引量:1

The Infuence of Short Video Use on Children's Academic Achievement from The Perspective of Competition Theory—The Role of Parental Intervention

摘要 儿童短视频使用对其学业表现会带来怎样影响?家长干预对于二者关系将起到何种作用?本文采取问卷调查法,以上海市中小学生及其家庭为研究对象,对以上两个问题进行深入探究。研究发现,儿童短视频使用与各学科成绩呈现显著负相关。本文将家长自身的短视频使用纳入家长干预策略一并考量,调节效应结果显示,当家长短视频使用时长较短时,儿童全年使用时长、非寒暑假平均每日使用次数对学业成绩的预测作用并不显著;当家长短视频使用时长较长时,儿童全年使用时长、非寒暑假平均每日使用次数均能显著负向预测学业成绩。另外,当积极的共同使用较弱时,儿童非寒暑假平均每日使用次数对学业成绩的预测作用并不显著;当积极的共同使用较强时,儿童非寒暑假平均每日使用次数能够显著负向预测学业成绩。 What is the impact of children's short video use on their academic performance?What is the role of parental intervention in the relationship between the two?In this paper,a questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate these two questions with primary and secondary school students and their families in Shanghai.The results of the data show that the length of children's short video use and the number of weekday/weekend use were significantly negatively correlated with academic performance,which supported the application of the Reduction Hypothesis to short video,a new electronic media form.In terms of parental intervention measures,this paper innovatively includes parents'own short video use into parental intervention strategies.The moderating effect of parental interventions was found to be that when the length of parental short video use was short,children's annual use time and the average daily use times during non-vacation had no significant effect on their academic performance;when the length of parental short video use was long,the length of children's annual use and the average daily use times during non-vacation were significant negative predictors of academic performance.In addition,when active co-use was weak,the average daily use times during non-vacation was not a significant predictor of academic performance;when active co-use was strong,the average daily use times during non-vacation was a significant negative predictor of academic performance.For this reason,we advocate that parents should moderate their use of short videos and reduce the number of times children use short videos.
